Sashi Serakhoi

The daughter of an affluent political family on Hulm VIII, Sashi grew up in a veritable palace and received the finest education, excelling especially in mathematics, electronics and computers. In her 18 years of life she has never wanted for anything, nor known any real hardship or strife. Still, even as a girl, gazing up into the starry heavens at night, she felt a haunting hunger to know the unknown, to see each world and feel the sun of every star on her face. Despite her parents strident disapproval of her desire to follow the wanderer's path, she has felt more alive since graduating from Republic University and setting out to follow her own destiny than she ever imagined. While she sometimes feels homesick, the friends she has made feel like the family she was always meant to have. She strives to live true to the axiom she learned from her favorite professor: "There is no greater joy in life than to explore all things new."
