Yuko was born in YC91 into the fairly wealthy and established Aioi Family that forged their wealth designing and making components for FTL fluid routers. Yuko didn't want to follow her mother's footsteps to become a manager and eventually CEO of the family business, and instead wanted to see beyond Lirsautton V.

Fresh out of Private School, Yuko signed up with the Federation Navy in YC110, and was sent to the Federal Naval Academy for Officer and Capsuleer training. She passed her final Capsuleer exams without much note. Yuko was cloned, and was assigned the rank of Lieutenant in YC111. When her compulsory 2 year service in the Navy was up, Yuko then became independent, fed up with the beurocracy of the Navy.

Yuko discharged from the Navy at the rank of Captain. Persuing some private roles in mining and capsuleer corporation diplomacy around Amarr space in YC113, then moving onto some work with the Garoun Investment Bank, and then into a Research Firm based in her home system.
