I don't believe mere words can summarize who I really am and what my true potential really is, but if I had to format a reflection of myself that way, I would quote my father, who always told me "Nothing worth having comes easy". An NCO during my tenure in Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson was once asked, "what do you want to become in the future?". And she replied with a simple, but powerful answer: "All I do is strive to better than the person I was yesterday". I was lucky to have such powerful and positive influences early in life, as do I strive to live by them every day. I believe that with determiniation, willpower, courage, and heart, those distant stars beyond your wildest dreams are only at arms reach away. You just have to go get them.
