Hideyo Caderu

Born into the affluent Sang Do caste, Hideyo has always been proud of her family and its history. As a part of the ruling elite she has been reluctant to the abolishment of the Jin-Mei Cast system but she also recognizes the inevitability of it and it was this realization that drove her to leave her comfy life at the courts for a more risky life in space.
She now seeks to establish a future for her family by acquiring riches and territory in space as she feels that her way of life is at risk now that the lower casts are no longer confined to their proper station.

As a person Hiedeyo is used to getting her way, sometimes very outspoken and arrogant but she can also be quite pleasant when it suits her, displaying a more feminine side suitable for social events.
