Kara Gilthanka had a tremendous childhood tramua. She and her brother\xa0personally, from space, saw their home planet explode into a huge fireball that was so bright their visual sight was burned from them. She recieved peripherial implants as a teen and has been learning to survive ever since, only recently striking out on her own to make something of herself.
