"Why do you play EVE?"

Your "Why" is the reason. There's no boss at the end of the dungeon. There's no K:D ratio. There's no shiney armor I show off to my homies. There's no NPC spinning me some epic tale about why I need to collect 10 femur bones to heal his daughter's whooping cough.

There's just a universe. A truly empty, harsh universe. And we, the players, make what we will of it. I am the why. You are the why.

You do Minmatar missions? I buy your Faction ammo and Fleet modules. You farm wormholes? I buy your T3s. You come to lowsec? I PVP you. You take part in sov warfare? I read about it. You mine rocks? I fly ship built with the sweat of your labor. You explore? I fit your findings to my ship. You play market games in Jita? I buy your imports.

You are why I play. And I am why you play. We are the why.
