I wake up in the middle of darkness - I am tied up lying on my back. It is warm and wet, I am shouting and twitching in terror. My helplessness calms me down quickly, I am trying my senses

"Our journey was long as was your command. And I don't know about anything else, I'm just the ship's log. I've been guarding your sleep and counting your heartbeats for decades"
So, a log, a ship and outer space, all for some hidden destination. That only I would eventually recognize. Even though I didn't know anything anymore.
