2022, I'm not sure if that's how many times I've awoken as a clone or not. My real name. I don't know. Cook2022 was the name and description on the last cloning vat I awoke in. A Caldari Admiral told me my name, Nathan, and he said I was once a great Commander in the Caldari Navy when they found me. I read a lot about the Caldari State and was proud to be a citizen, at least I was told I was one, so I tried very hard to fill the role the Admiral wished of me. For a time, I enjoyed what I did, and I believed I was becoming myself again like I was earning the name and title bequeathed to me by the navy. But then, the order came. I was a good soldier, and I obeyed. Everything I had read about the state told me I was doing the right thing, ordering men to their deaths. They weren't capsuleers like me. I decided that in my new life, this new clone with no memory of my past, that I didn't want to send anyone else to die. I resigned, and I fell in with capsuleers that are immortal like me.
