A fervent patriot, Anshu Zephyran entered the Gallentean capsuleer program in order to take his ideals to the stars. Finding those ideals challenged by the life of a capsuleer, he went through a period of aimlessness, but has now emerged with a new sense of purpose. Though still dedicated to the Gallentean values of freedom and equality, he has shed much of his old nationalism and hopes for a reconciliation between the Caldari State and Gallente Federation. He abhors the institution of slavery, and for this reason is wary and suspicious of the Amarr Empire, but he has put aside his feelings of hostility in the face of the Sansha threat, which he believes represents a greater and more fundamental form of enslavement than anything now practiced in the Empire.
