Freyja Ran

Freya Ran is not to be trusted! Raised in an ultaconservative Amarr family of lesser nobility Freja is an only child. Doted on by her father she wanted for nothing by the time she reached her majority she was an amoral wench who did what she pleased and mouthed the required religious scriptures.

In an ill-fated hijacking attempt on a Gallente transport, the notorious "Marosier Movers" incident, Freja suffered extreme radiation exposure leaving her scarred and blind. Despite her being the antagonist the temporary pilot of the transport, a young Gallente politico, managed to rescued her and her ship from certain destruction.

Repatriated to her homeworld her parents successfully petitioned for her to enter a fanatical religious battle sect based on reports of her actions on Marosier; spun as an attempt to convert the heathen. Freja stayed just long enough to learn basic battle craft and then absconded with a large portion of the sect's treasury.
