Hunger is what I've always known.- a hunger for knowledge, a hunger for greatness.

My father expected I would manage and operate the family tobacco plantation, but the stars have always beckoned to me. I could feel this one star pulsing, as if it were trying to invoke my destiny. This star drew me into space, but it has never been clear what it is that I was supposed to do.

A calling. I started by learning shipping, the most convenient way off of my homeworld. I've learned the ways of my enemies and have forgotten myself in the process. And now, like the ships I fly, I am drifting amongst the stars, I've forgotten my purpose and desire. I've met more people than I can remember and go anywhere my thrusters point.

But where next? Perhaps a diplomat, perhaps a teacher.
