Zzrcqukjoz was scared and alone. Abandoned in a long forgotten shuttle's cargohold in the Impetus Development Studio station in Evuldgenzo with her stillborn pup beside her, a note was found next to her that read:
"Please provide fresh corpses."

A sympathetic capsuleer found poor Zzrcqukjoz, and took her and her pup to the ESPCF Fedo Procurement Center in Hek, where she gave birth to two dozen more stillborn pups. The cluggax-kuxuarqweeh mix fedo had molting scales, two broken claws, and inflamed gills --- she was suffering and needed immediate treatment.

Our expert veterinarians performed two surgeries; one, to extract a half dozen other miscarried fedo pups, and another to remove the two broken claws. Three days ago Zzrcqukjoz was placed with a foster parent for 2 weeks as she recovers. Quite astonishingly, and despite her tragic past, Zzrcqukjoz's foster describes her as "a very go-with-the-flow, happy-go-lucky fedo."

Zzrcqukjoz is just one of thousands of emergency cases the Eden Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Fedo (ESPCF) sees each year. Many of these fedo were the victims of abandonment, severe neglect, or cruelty. Our hearts break for these defenseless animals, but we ensure that every fedo who comes through our hangar doors receives the highest level of care and treatment and a fresh corpse every week.

I am writing to you today because I believe that you are one of the exceptional capsuleers whose feelings for fedos rises above disgust and unease --- that you are willing to help solve the problems that other capsuleers ignored or, at worst, created.

And frankly, the ESPCF urgently needs your help to push back from the tide of violence against fedos. The task is too large for the ESPCF to handle without urgent assistance from dedicated friends like you.
