A distant relative of the Khanid royal family (and supposedly also a descendant of the ancient conqueror Genghis Khan), Khir'Lis, although technically part of Amarrian society, refuses to follow any of the Amarrian beliefs or ideologies, claiming that True Amarrians are nothing more than slavers and conquerors that hide behind a fa\xe7ade of piety and faith. While sharing a common distrust (and perhaps even hatred) for the Amarr with most Minmatar, many Minmatar also distrust him, as Khanid warriors were at the forefront of the subjugation of the Minmatar by the Amarr; thus, most of the contacts he considers friends (of which he has few) tend to be either Caldari or Gallente. Luckily, however, his connection with the Khanid royal family allows him access to most Amarrian ships and technology.
