So I was at this party, right? The kind of party you never have to leave, because nobody gets in without they have enough money it'll never run out. This party had everything: Nightclub-like rooms full of pounding beats, chill-out rooms full of Zen calm, libraries full of smart people to converse with, bedrooms to sleep in (and bedrooms to get no sleep at all in) and sportsfields and gymnasiums and everything a multibillionaire immortal could possibly want or imagine was either there already or could be brought in more quickly than you would believe. I'd been at this party for a little over two years.

Then the strangest thing happened. A voice I'd not heard since I joined the party pointed out to me that all my money had gone. Along with all my assets. Stripped of everything, I was given a choice: stay at the party and find out what happens when they realise your money's run out, or make one simple delivery and earn my freedom.

Of course, the delivery turned out not to be simple.
