Darren Carey

Darren Carey, AKA "The Plaid Mentat", is a numerical analysis professor by day, and an advanced weapons dealer by night.

Early in his carreer, Duvolle Labs took note of his work, and offered him the chance to become a pod pilot. While not something anyone in their right mind would turn down, Darren knew he had some leverage in the negotiations, and accepted under the condition that he would retain the privilege to teach planetside on any world he chose during his tenure.

After his work was completed, he struck out on his own, and formed The Black Storm of Destruction with friends and colleagues, while contracting out his skills as a free agent.
