Our world is not perfect, the Gallente can claim superiority for their diplomacy, but they are trying to live a dream. I hold no grudge against the Gallente, some of my best friends have pure Gallente blood in their veins, but don't come to me and say diplomacy is the best way.
As Admiral Constanza Stark so adequately put it: "I've always found a fully deployed battle group to be the most effective negotiator."
However we cannot ignore the consequences of our actions: Going too far in combat can have long-term consequences for you, your corporation or even the entire faction. Too many alliances have broken apart while some simple self-restraint could have avoided the catastrophe.
