Thalen Soratt

Thalen enrolled at the Center for Advanced Studies to follow in his family's tradition of successful miners. After graduation he quickly found mining to be unglamorous and dull but appreciated the steady income it generated. As he upgraded ships over several weeks and expanded into more dangerous systems looking for better ore, Thalen discovered combat one fateful day. A rookie Serpentis thug tried to ransom Thalen's ship. Remembering his training he launched his small compliment of drones, kept just in case, and eventually destroyed the thug's ship. The excitment of nearly dieing was new to Thalen, but the lesson made him refocus some of his training for combat. Later, without abandoning his mining roots, Thalen took up a more serious interest in fighting pirate scum all over Gallente space. He's not regretted his decision since then.

Very harmless. Likes to be scratched behind the ears.
