At the age of 12, Shiko and her 3 sisters, along with her mother, were killed in the "Otano Mitsu" incident, in which the Gallente Federation fired upon a civilian liner after a target acquisition malfunction. Her father spared no expense in retrieving their DNA, but only Shiko's was complete enough to be used to grow a new clone from the information. The imprinting was not perfect, however. Shiko is currently representing Lai Dai's interest in Amarr space. Her expertise in accounting, rocket science, metallurgy, archaeology, computer security, and combat piloting are currently being utilized by Khanid and Greater Amarr corporations. She is currently contracted to House Shi, a minor Khanid Holder family. She is open about the fact that she is giving regular reports to Lai Dai about the ongoing situation in the Empire.

She is ALWAYS in possession of her trusty dataslate, and her quarters both in Mehatoor and Tanoo are filled with odd historical trinkets and conversation pieces.
