Haruth Karvanan

The child of wealthy parents, Haruth Karvanan matured under a yoke of rigid discipline and tight scheduling. Taught both by the highest ranking schools and an industrious father, Haruth learned the basics of spaceflight before he was able to ever actually pilot a ship.

Late in his teenage years, Haruth suffered a tragic accident involving caustic chemicals when attempting a difficult repair on a damaged frigate, and has since then remained without the use of his eyes. His pupils eventually disappeared, covered by his body's effort to heal what was tremendous damage. Though there existed technology on his homeworld to repair his sight, the one attempt he could afford failed, and left Haruth in a comatose state for nearly a year.

Several years later, able to finally cope with his condition, Haruth Karvanan has spent everything he has in an effort to succeed in space.
