Sentenced in the year 21974 AD for crimes he did not commit, the Major was put into cryogenic sleep untill his execution. He was sentenced for the murder of his family; a crime he was innocent of.
A few years weeks later, while being transpoerted to a penal colony, the ship carrying him was attacked and all crew murdered. The ship ws left floating in space, until it collided with asteroids. Only the nuclear reactor fitted to the cryogenic chamber kept the Major alive, through this.
In the year 23341 AD MajorScrewup was found in a Gallente constellation, by a explorer named Ground Control. He was taken to doctors in the Luminaire System and bought to consciousness.
While he was offered a position by Ground Control, he had to decline.
The world that he knew was gone. His family and friends were of a different age. He enrolled in the Center for Advanced Studies.
