The Countess Leonora used to be an Amarrian aristocrat. In high school she met a Gallentian libertarian who was on the Council of Luminaire. This relationship was condemned by Amarrian society and the countess was ostracized from polite society. Doing a Minmarar slave revolt on Amarr the countess ran off to her love on Luminaire. In the process she was excommunicated from the Amarr religion and disinherited by her father the count.

Leonora married her lover and got Gallente citizenship; living for a few years in happy bliss. Her husband was killed doing a revolt on Caldari Prime where he was trying to mediate between the Caldari rebels and the Gallente police. The police then came after her because of her Amarrian ancestry suspecting her of spying and incitement of violence.
