Faith is not the preserve of the state. It is not for the state, however it is implemented, to direct what is and is not acceptible faith. The state does not intercede, nor is it the sole channel through which the one we worship can be reached.

Where faith is true, the channel is direct. Where faith is true, belief grows. There is but one Father, one God. One Way, Truth and Life. We need no state to direct or control that way.

My ancestors were persecuted by the state for their faith, for not conforming to the state's faith, yet did not lose it.

I retain that faith. I, too, am a "non-conformist". Some may call it Kalvynism, some may call it heresy, but I am honoured to be called a Kalvynist.
