Raised as minmitar slave 012011938A, Haulking was saved from a life of misery at the hands of the Amarr scumbags following a mission by Hegemonic Core's campaigners. He vowed his allegiance to the stalwart band of rescuers, and also pledged his name to them - one of his first choices after he was given his freedom. He became interested in munitions and explosives during his small stint in a Heimatar laboratory studying the effects of a new and exciting blend of uranium and plasma - made stable enough through some very clever quantum mechanics pioneered by Dr. Killengolabendrok from Edmalbrurdus.
Some four years later he left Hegemonic Core after the corporation crumbled, joining one of the major minmitar factions working in secret collaberation with a minmitar double agent. Inspired by his long-time companion and following on from his studies in munitions he specialised in Caldari technology and was the first minmitar pilot able to detonate a cruise missile
