MORN JUDITH

Nobody is entirely sure whether Morn is her first name, a title, or a warning.

Judith herself refuses to clarify the matter.

She appears shortly before breakfast, usually accompanied by poor decisions, inexplicable paperwork, and a distant sound that may or may not be a church bell.

Her official titles include:

Countess of the Unreasonably Early Hour
Lady of the Cold Toast
Keeper of the Third Kettle
Deputy Warden of Things Found Behind the Sofa
and Acting Supervisor of the Department of Foreboding.

Her family crest depicts a blackbird, a cracked teacup, and G\xfcnther wearing a hat.

The hat has no heraldic significance.

Neither does G\xfcnther.

Several witnesses claim Morn Judith once predicted a great disaster three days before it happened.

Unfortunately, she predicted twelve other disasters that week.

Historians therefore remain cautious.

Morn Judith does not.
