Much is said praising the early bird for it does indeed get the worm. Little is said of the early worm who most likely had only a short time to enjoy it's early waking before said bird killed it. We can infer a couple of things from this further thought on the subject. First, ambition is not necessarily a good thing for all individuals. Second, we can assume the early bird is an asshole for ruining the overly ambitious worm's day.
