Puffjelo

Puffjelo grew up not going to school in a comfortable classroom, but instead learning from the school of hard knocks. He travelled the universe finding work on freighters wherever he could. On some runs, he'd do well for himself, and be living the good life for a few weeks; at other times, he could barely make ends meet for weeks at a time. He learned two important lessons, though:

First, Loyalty is King. A true friend, someone who always has your back, is rare in this universe; in the rare event that you find true friends, loyalty to them (and from them) surmounts all.

Second, Profit is the only true Power. Battles are won and lost, sometimes through strategy and sometimes through luck. Elections are won and lost, sometimes fairly and sometimes fixed. At the end of the day, though, if you can make enough profit, you can pay others to fight for you, pay others to represent you (or look the other way). Given enough profit, you will always have more power coming your way.
