Bio
Tribe: Brutor
Birthplace: Skarkon II, Molden Heath
Status: Capsuleer of the Republic, Warrior of the Tribes
"They carved chains into our backs. So I carved freedom into mine."
Born in the ash-choked barrens of Skarkon II, Branika was the child of survivors — Brutor laborers who fled the Amarrian reeducation camps after the Elder War. She was raised not with lullabies, but with war songs and whispered stories of ancestors whose names were lost in bondage.
At twelve, she watched her father die holding off slavers who came to reclaim what they called "Imperial property." At thirteen, she buried her mother beneath a cairn of shattered drone parts and glass sand. And by fourteen, Branika had her first kill — a Blood Raider scouting vessel she lured into an ambush with nothing but a salvaged transmitter and hate in her bones.
They named her Chainbreaker when she led a tribal raid to free over sixty Matari captives from an Ammatar convoy. She carved off the shackles of the children herself — and left the Amarrian clerics strung up from their own crucifixes.
Later scouted by Republic Fleet intelligence, she passed the capsuleer trials on her first attempt. They tried to polish her into an officer. It didn’t take. Branika still flies by instinct and blood-memory — fast, brutal, and unrelenting. Her ships are always scarred, never pretty. Her killmails are signed with “For Skarkon.”
She bears no loyalty to CONCORD or any empire. She respects the Sanmatar but trusts no Republic that still allows slavery to breathe in the cluster. Branika fights for the Matari who cannot fight for themselves — for the still-shackled, the forgotten, the unborn.
Her tattoos are old-style: deep-cut, clan-tied, inked by bone needle. Across her back, in tribal runes, it reads:
“Never Again.”
