New Eden. Not exactly the sparkling metropolis I pictured when I signed up for EVE Online. Still, there's a certain… appeal to the endless black splashed with a million tiny stars. Maybe it's the silence, broken only by the low hum of my pod. A fresh start.


They say mining's honest work. Methodical, even. Strip an asteroid clean, one rock at a time. Beats the rumors that follow me like a rogue drone. Plus, there's something calming about the rhythm of the lasers, the satisfying clink of ore filling the cargo hold. A slow and steady climb up the galactic food chain, that's the plan.


But let's be honest, even a prospector needs a little edge. Who knows what I might unearth in these asteroid belts, besides tritanium and veldspar. New Eden's a big place, full of possibilities.
