Bio
Orphaned from birth on Amamake II, Cobbir "Cobby" Eignar was shaped by the crime and violence of his home system. Though his name became synonmous with piracy, he contends he was simply protecting Hed from Amarr and Caldari industrial exploitation. His risky exploits prompted to the two empires to call on the Minmatar Republic for his arrest. Considering Cobbir something of an extralegal asset, the Republic Security Services chose to ignore the complaints.
In YC 118, the Gallente freighter Oberon was attacked in Amamake while ferrying humanitarian aid for a famine on Osoggur VIII, and Cobbir was blamed. Relief to the planet was stalled for months following the attack when Amarr, Caldari, and Gallente diplomats successfully petitioned CONCORD to threaten to leave Minmatar space. Threatened with a diplomatic crisis, and a suffering planet, the Tribal Council vowed to arrest Cobbir at last. Though his compatriots claimed his innocence, Cobbir turned himself in within days of the attack.
"All criminals have one rule, a line they dare not cross. Mine was bringing harm to the Matari people. My wreckless assault on the Oberon broke that rule." -Cobbir Eignar at the Tribal Court of Matar, YC 118
While claiming ignorance of the Oberon's destination, Cobbir plead guilty to the crime. He offered up his body for a lifetime of capsuleer service in the Minmatar Militia. Despite calls for his permanent death from the Amarr and Caldari, the Republic Justice Department accepted Cobbir's offer.
Upon his cloning, Cobbir's criminal psychology was corrected. Though he is now among the militia's most loyal fighters, some say he is still a pirate at heart...
