Andagassi Arvas

Intrepid explorers from the Science and Trade Institute have a reputation for fearlessness in the face of the unknown.

Born in the tundra-like arctic of his home planet, and part of a society that herded ungulates, depending on them for food and fur, he stumbled across some recruiters and was discovered to be an adept at mathematics. Before he realized it, he was lying on a pad with his neuropatterns being scanned destructively and he died, consciousnss transferred to a clone. While learning pilot skills, he lost his second life defending his planet which was blasted to waste by Triglavians. He adopted as his new name Andagassi (apology) Arvas (tundra) in honor of the lifestyle for which there was no return. Born without fear and with mutated and inactive oxytocin receptors, a very undersized amygdala and postoptic frontal cortex, he is barely capable of emotion and never feels guilt, but he has developed a personal code that allows him to interact with neurotypicals with little friction. This not-quite-human follows his own goals and has a tendency to move those obstructing his achieving them out of his way.

He has been bothered by a recurring dream where he operates a spaceship named "chlomo alogo" and deals lightning to triglavian worlds with it. Whether that has anything to do with his goals, none but he can say.
