imagine the possibility of a species capable of harvesting a suns energy, where they hunt for and time travel to detected sources of mass-power to leech and contain the mass energies they provide, a big complete heat resistent dome space structured-ship, that expands to sizes, once achieved it can completely decypher and disect suns leaving them totally lifeless over a duration of time by activating some kind of "North-to-South / East-to-West" energy extractor beam that blasts its way through the surfaces. Would be a good movie imo. A Sci-fi intergalactic survival of the unknown set in the future more advanced and ahead of time where any opposition was in the position to defend itself and to all end somehow in unity - perhaps throw in some kind of tactical distant invasion from the dark side of a inhabited moon, - plot twist; those things where there settling the whole time unnoticed and co-ordinated the offensive.
