Bio
Sidon Liet was born in space aboard a freighter bound for The Bleak Lands. His mother was the property and consort of an Amarrian warlord killed during a military campaign. She escaped, carried his child to term in secret, and managed to get Liet unofficially adopted by a free family who could not bear children. Liet never knew his father or mother. learning of his ancestry from his foster parents many years later.
To their credit, Liet's adopted parents loved him as their own and gave him a good education and every advantage. It helped that he favored his biological father in terms of physical characteristics, so his lineage was never in question. From an early age, he demonstrated a gift for the earth sciences and engineering, attending Hedion University and graduating with accolades. Through his research at the university, he caught the attention of corporates such as Nurtura, where he was hired as a consultant to improve their operations.
Liet gained unwelcome attention when he published a paper outlining the merits of motivating workers through incentives instead of punishments, characterizing Amarrian slave policies as negatively impacting productivity. He was swiftly shunned by contemporaries and expunged from service to the Empire's affiliates. In YC120, Tenveren Gildor of the GeoTec Corporation, having heard of Liet's skills as a planetologist, approached him about running their planetary operations in The Citadel region. The assignment has proven advantageous for both parties.
A creature of unrelenting efficiency, Liet augments his clones with technological devices to enhance his physical and mental abilities.
