Bio
The child of an Amarr mother and Nefantar father, Eight of Spades grew up in the Gallente Federation knowing nothing of the strife that existed between her two parent's people or how their marriage was rather taboo and why they had flet to Gallente to begin with.
After a happy childhood, she began to particapate more in Gallente life, but always felt an outcast by the supposedly equality minded Gallente, so she chose to attend the Republic University. She was shocked to find out the atrocities commited by her mother's people against her father's and to see how the Minmatar were still struggling for freedom. However, once anyone knew about her background, the old cold and distant treatment started up again.
She spent several years as a mercanary capsuleer for different corporations, enjoying the solitary nature of it. But still she wanted more. She wanted to know more about the other half of her heritage, but could not stand the idea of working for the empire and it's evil policies.
She was then contacted by the Future family, old friends of her mother's family. Cato the Future needed an agent to coordiante with the Caldari for the new department of Tax Assurance he was heading up. Finances being an almost heretical job in the spiritually focused Empire, whose people seem to like to imagine that their ships are paid for by God, the department was filled with oddballs and people from the societal edge.
Still, she had no desire to help even the Khanids, or anyone who attempted to support slavery. Why did she join then? Rumor has it that something big is brewing on the horizon in terms of the empire's policies, and Eight of Spades is the exact right person to help bring them about.
(That's about the best I come up with for a Minmatar character in an Khanid corp)
