Nikolai Lermontov

Nikolai was born as the second child to a prominent military family. He spent his early days playing with figures and models of starships and pilots while occasionally harassing his older sister.

After his sister left for the State War Academy, Nikolai spent his time studying combat tactics and strategies while regularly borrowing his father's personal corvette to practice piloting and maneuvers.

Since they only had a 2-year age difference, Nikolai followed her sister's footsteps into the State War Academy where he learned more about the art of piloting and gained access to deeper knowledge about tactics and how to fend for one's self in the cruel expanse of space.

His sister eventually graduated the Academy, but she never returned to the family estate. She only sent their parents her hairpin and a written letter outlining her plans for the future. He never saw her again but she still kept in touch with him, sometimes sending him ISK and items.

When it was his turn to graduate, he returned home to stay with his parents for a few months before setting off to rally with the Krimson Killerz under HYSTERlA.'s banner with his weapons loaded, his afterburners burning, and his course unknown.
