Most are prone to consult the public record when researching the origin of this enigma known as "ShizLAN." And, that is conveniently just as he would prefer it to be. It is said that he is of Amarrian descent. Only very few, though, ever unearth any shred of missing evidence that tell of his exploits predates even the Amarr dynasty themselves...and farther than they in history and herstory both. When inquiring minds do manage to get too close he deflects interest, in most cases, that this they speak of was the one whom he got his namesake from...in who's footsteps he follows.
To the even fewer still who manage to get clear of that smokescreen and finally confront him, he will provide a particular version of the truth, one which is very much accurate, yet still manages to leave so many details of the Story out:
"I can't remember anymore."
His consort, Kieraya , confidant supreme and Best Friend Forever, would never reveal even the little that he has accidentally shared in his half-sleep derious states of consciousness. It is no secret, though, that his close ties to Amarr and his loyalty to the empire were stressed to the breaking point in recent years. A less-than-cordial parting of ways was deemed best, with the Empire, though he is still able to travel freely there as he is most everywhere.
When She found him, in the nick of time, it was perhaps the best thing that ever happened to him, and She promtly extended sanctuary and welcome to him within Minmatar space, home away from home.
And, so it has gone this way, by circumstance, he is once again fated to walk the stars far and wide--from safe harbor to safe harbor, in search of his original home-port of calling. He spends the majority of his energy and precious moments seeking out the best and most beautiful of creatures to gather 'round him in community, these sacred to him, are composed of the noblest hearts, sterling meddle, and impeccable virtue among us; in order to, together, establish in this universe a New Eden capable of truly living up to its own namesake...
