I always sympathized with the underdogs. Back home, I remember trying my best to defend the rights of the disenfranchised and the marginalized sectors of society, especially women. Growing up in an abusive environment exposed me to the horrors of violence against womenm as I witnessed my own mother being raped and beaten to death. Since then I sort of became a crusader for women. This did not prevent criticism, both from men and women. From the former, since clearly I hated my own sex, and was probably homosexual - a conclusion I never understood. From the latter, for I could never understand their true plight, being male and all. To the latter criticism, which made more sense, I vowed to answer. Hence, I asked to volunteer for my consciousness to be transferred to this inert female clone. Perhaps understanding may never come, but I remain resolved in my defense of women, as well as of all the downtrodden with this new body, and this... New Eden.
