Bio
The Kestrel. The latest in a line of honourable and true weapons, this noble vessel follows in the foosteps of the duelling rapier, marksman's pistol and shiver-blade as a personal weapon exemplifying discipline and courage. Some laugh when I say this. "How can a starship be a personal weapon?" they sneer. Lacking the grit, the courage to face death as one faces the rising sun or bleary reflection one casts in the mirror every morning, they will never understand. But we do - the girls of the Doki Doki Kestrel Club have dedicated themselves to the art of the Kestrel as capsuleers. With graviton reactor hearts, quantum computer minds, flurries of rockets our outstretched hands, we forge ourselves in the fires of battle and friendship. One with our weapons in a way no duellist has ever been before, we are a new breed of warrior for a more civilised age.
