Bio
"TRINITI, approach that strange wormhole." Unbeknowst to me, this would be the stupidest decision of my life.
The moment my ship crossed the event horizon, a blinding light flooded my cockpit window as I experienced a powerful distortive force; it felt as if my mind was being ripped out of my body. Once I regained my senses, I realized I was suspended in some sort of fluid. A bodily scan reveals that I'm still in one piece, but a regional scan concludes I'm stuck in some civilian corvette not of Terran design; a far cry from my custom suppressor-class destroyer. Then, this "Commander Torelle" contacts me and tells me how to fly the damn thing. Fortunately, I have had prior experience with neural control, and following his advice, I manage to reach a station in one piece.
Upon docking, I notice that the station doesn't look like any design I've seen before. When I ask around for directions to Terran territory, they act like I've gone insane. I then clarify that I hail from the Unified Network of Terrans; no one here has heard of my home faction. Along the way, I hear of this "capsuleer" technology, and as my neural implants allow free transfer to and from my original body, I opt to have my original body kept in storage and my consience transferred into a clone. A new body comes with a new identity; as far as the residents of New Eden are concerned, I'm part of the "Jin-Mei" now.
But that was several months ago. Since then, I've found myself amongst a corporation and experienced wormhole life. Still haven't found any trace of Terran contact. but I'm scanning daily. I once commanded vast supercapital fleets, now I'm stuck in mining frigates that I seem to lose every other day. For the UNT, I guess...
