Leadgen

In the past, it was claimed that, in space, no-one can hear you scream. That theory was well-tested (and de-bunked, in point of fact) when Leadgen was brought into the world.

Leadgen's mother screamed in agony while delivering her seriously over-sized bundle of joy, which was akin to passing a watermelon through a garden hose. Leadgen's "father" screamed in shock realisation that his "son" shared marked similarities in appearance with a captain under which he had himself served during the previous year.

The doctor screamed for a shot of whiskey while in part wishing he hadn't started drinking early in the evening and also in part wishing he had started drinking even earlier in the evening because gosh damn that kid had a shocking head on him. The nurse screamed at all of them to shut up, despondent that years of medical study had accomplished naught but to consign her to this backwater space station.

Oh, and of course Leadgen screamed, as newborns are wont to do.
