An incorrectable genetic abnormality leading to permanent blindness caused this man's parents to abandon him at a Sister's of Eve research facility shortly after birth, leaving a note identifying him only as Eben. The Sister's, choosing to give him a chance at a future, began doing research that led to the implanting of neural processing units directly onto his cerebral cortex. When linked to a series of sensors embedded in his face, they allow him to see as a normal person would...and beyond.
He took the surname Darque as a tribute to his blindness. Shortly after his daughter was born to a Sister, he applied to the Gallente Center for Advanced Studies, where he excelled at his classes, earning many acedemic honors and awards during his time there.
Now he has left the Center and entered the life of a capsuleer in the hope that he can succeed as a ship supply manufacturer across the entire scope of New Eden. Joining him in the rise of Darque Enterprises is his daughter, Evrae Darque.
