The Serpentis had been known in similar circumstances to simply liquidate everyone and start over.
Serpentis spies and assassins were everywhere, so for Farlex there was no way out. An attempt to betray or leave the gang would result in his figurative and literal termination, as he well knew.
There was some hope. Armer had connections on Serpentis Prime who hinted Angel Cartel or Serpentis operatives were planning Vultron's liberation. Whether conjecture or fact was anyone's guess.
So, lacking options, the Captain had determined to keep his head down, deliver the X-Instinct, Sooth Sayer, Crystal Egg, and other narcotics to drug outlets at Intaki on schedule, and not think too much about the morrow.
