My name comes from the time when my family was subject to slavery by the Amarr empire. While enslaved, my "people" were given numbers instead of names. I suppose it was easier to track the slaves that way. The numbers were distributed by sequence. I, myself, was born after my people escaped the bonds of slavery. Many members of our new society chose to create new names for themselves so that their new life would be easier to transition into. I honestly don't remember my birth name, as I changed it, at a very young age, to this "number" that it would have been in the original sequence. I choose not to forget what the Amarr "Empire" did to my people... and I intend they don't either. My name is a symbol.
