The term 'Federati' stems from ages past. Eons before humanity's re-emergence into the stars, even before its collapse and rebirth in New Eden. Federati heralds from a culture that lived and died without knowlegde of the Eve Gate. Millenia before man first broke the surely bonds of its ancestrial home, Earth, Terra Firma.
But so strong were the ideas this culture fostered that they can still be seen in the doctrines, constitutions, philosophies and oral histories of all major civilizations accross New Eden, though Eons of destruction and corruption of man have twisted and poisoned those ideas almost beyond recognition.
Some among us have chosen to escape the clutches of these civilizations and the names by which they were known. They have taken the name 'Federati' and with it, a charge. A charge to re-unite humanity and elevate ourselves to our rightfull place among the stars!
In antiquity, ambition was a dirty word. Let's just say I'm not afraid to get a bit dirty. ~Ritz
