Erizi

Erizi walked deliberately through the silent, cold corridors. Every time, when she came upon a heavily fortified durasteel window, that gave a view to the obscure space, she stopped for one moment, touched the icy glass and watched in solemn silence.
"So dark, so grand, so ... desolate.", she whispered each time she made her short halt.
"May The mother guide me."
There was no necessity to walk through the ship, she could have used one of the technologies at hand, but she simply liked to do it. It was her ship, she made the decisions, everything listened to her orders, be it crew, passenger or vessel. So it was, and has ever been, as long as she could remember, even though she knew that there was more in the past, things she would not remember, on purpose.
At last she reached her destination and entered the small room. It was a very simple and tiny chamber, normally reserved for the lowest crewmembers. As the door opened, a cloaked figure slowly turned around to face Erizi, smiling.
