Undefined Target

As the stars pass you by, your ship comes to a sudden stop, your systems are failing, you pick up nothing on your scanner. Your communicator is down, distress signals won't help you here. What could have done this? Mercenaries for that rival corporation you've been stealing data from? Rogue drones? Or worse...pirates? Suddenly you notice that your shields are down, and your armor is almost all but depleated. You panic. You divert all available power to your shield boosters, but its no use. They are not going up. You use what remaining power your ship had in its capacitor to take you up to your pod ejection bay. The hatch doors are shut. The pod isn't going anywhere. Looking out the reinforced windows, at what may very well be your last glimpse of space...or of anything for that matter, you notice you are not being attacked by anyone, but rather have entered a nebula filled with explosive gasses. All of a sudden, your ship is being towed and repaired...but by whom?
