Unlike during the 21st century when this establishment was nothing more than a for-profit diploma mill, the distance of space and the advances in faster-than-light communication have grown this small school into a powerhouse of research and development in the fields of economics, sociology, psychology, and gender studies.

Professor Fish's doctoral thesis was on the socioeconomic mobility of young women in Minmatar space, specifically in the Hek system.
