Sasstraliss

As his probes delved through space, their owner looked at his console carefully - taking in all the details of what his probes told him.

A region of space outside of all planetary orbit was apparently giving a reading. A small, out of the way reading indicating a single ship or perhaps an object of some kind.

He commanded one of his deep space probes to look closer at the mystery, to get a visual on his find.

Several minutes later, the expression on his face reflected both fear and surprise. For what he found he thought to be an old wreck. A Maelstrom, left in the gulf of space to float. What surprised him was the lack of any visual damage.

This emotion intensified as the ship's engines came to life, and his probe reported a single life sign on-board. The strands of fear came to him at the mysterious ship aligned directly to him, and engaged warp drive.
