Voltaire Jyggylag

Voltaire Jyggylag was the son of a rich war baron, Gelkor Jyggylag, who dominated the largely uncivilized section of JRD-1A. After a CONCORD crackdown in that system, Gelkor was captured and made to serve a life sentence at Urlen IV Penitentiary. There, his father met his mother, Amalya Pendelbrun. They were married in the jail-station's onboard chapel, and eventually yielded a child: Voltaire. They swore that he would not have the same life they had, and sent him off to the Niyabainen School of Metallurgy, hoping he would take up the craft. He did so exceptionally, coming to the head of his class in several consecutive years. When he finally graduated, his parents used their vast frozen funds to set him up in the Deep Core Mining corporation, where he has worked as a Tritanium harvester for fifteen years.
