I, Destro, after telling Cobra Commander that snakes suck, am forced to personally test Cobra's prototype Space and Time Distortabole Mark 8001. This machine, formed of rare elements found only in most remote locations on Earth, is able to shift the contents of a 10 m3 can to a random place and time. Cobra Commander assured us that it will be the winning factor in the battle against Gi-Joe but I knew better.

As the machine activated I blacked out from the intense pain. I awoke naked on a planet called Romulus in a strange and distant universe. The people of Romulus took me in and trained me in the ways of 425mm hybrid cannons. I was reborn as Denomolus and I will have my revenge.
