Dum Putz

Softly, softly, unfeeling gravity
silently tugs the shimmering
packets of corpuscle and plasma,
bright red with hope
of love unfettered that
never was to be,
and gathers below,
a corpulent pool,
shuddering and glowing
with extinguished life,
intersected by\xa0a sliver,
the silver Shiva,
the destroyer,
manufactured horror,
seemingly impotent,
yet pregnant with purpose
crossing the boundaries
of the living and the dead.
Judge me not, defiler of the Faith!
What is done cannot be undone,
and we will all perish in the fire.
Let us go down into the\xa0Darkness
together.
